Express feelings through the paper

By: Ahmad Mokhlis b Inngam (144509)

Kee Thuan Chye - the famous Malaysian writer. Inspires me - yes, follow his footsteps - big NO. it is not like i don`t have the capability to be a writer. Everyone have the talents. What is stopping me to be like Kee Thuan Chye is the guts that he has that i don`t have.

Even though he said that he did not knows the reason of his existence in this world, yet he knows what he wants. He is very firm with his decisions.

Person like Kee Thuan Chye has a different perspective and agenda and he express it through the papers. Its looks meaningless but it actually open people eyes! Sincerely i can`t be like him but still i`ll will follow his agenda to open people eyes to see the reality of the new world. Perhaps i can inject the idea through the younger generation maybe. Who know?

  1. I agree with what Ahmad Mokhlis has said. Kee Thuan Chye is unique in some way and people with no sense of literature will not see the inner meaning of his writing. He conveys message in his writing without saying it directly. From my first time reading his play, I'm confuse of the issue that he put in the play "The Swordfish, Then The Concubine". It tells us about the foolishness of the royal institution. A play writer is a brave person since he reflects the play with a real tragedy in this real world. Thanks to Kee Thuan Chye for his brilliant idea.
